Greetings y'all in 2011!

Yes, yes, we know that we were a bit "out of fashion coverage" lately and that the world is dyeing for some fresh news about Latvian Fashion. S'n'S NYR is to continue our mission to spread a good word about Latvian designer, but meanwhile we were popularising Latvian fashion gems and pearls here, in Latvia. For all those who doesn't know, Boy and Girl have evolved into editors on the very first online high-end fashion magazine in Eastern Europe titled Parterre. Chick this out, it's AWESOME and FABULOUS, yet in Latvian and Russian. www.parterremag.com

Talking about coverage, we had a pretty good one last season ourselves, ENJOY or BE JEALOUS or DIE.

Hi, y`all!
As any other fashioniastas we, Girl and Boy, start our day by visiting press kiosks to monitor some magazines and weekly journals and get a fresh cup of coffee, excluding coffee - we are now on an extreme detox diet, which doesn't allow to consume any caffeine in any form (black and green tea, cocoa and chocolate  are also sources of caffeine), dairy products, not even mentioning alcohol and ciggies. People think that we are a bit out of our minds, however, we just preparing ourselves for Riga Fashion Week, which, you might have guessed, involves a lot of bubbly alcoholic beverages and junk food.
Back to the point - standing and readings some fashion "literature" in Narvesen we were honoured to find our pictures and an article about us in JOY magazine. So we are official: "(..) is one of the most famous blogs in Latvia (...)the only Latvian fashion blog in English" according to Dace Vaivara, editor-in-chief of JOY magazine. We are very proud and inspired for a bigger challenges.

Just a small post UPDATED

Alright,  it is official now  - I am an Internet addict. Instead of simply enjoying myself in a garden  and playing with dogs I`m now writing this post . Imagine me in a hammock with my laptop. and yes I'm using my neighbour's wifi connection (whoops)  I had kind of crazy weekend  starting on Friday eving at a birthday party, following with QooQoo champagne breakfast  (?) and ending somewhere near harbor.  No panic – I'm safe and alive. Check us this evening for a QooQoo champagne and latex QooQoo Bird post.

But for now small press monitoring.

Summing up RFW part 1

Hello dear followers! I'm extremely sorry for not posting for a quite time, but as some of you might now, I have moving drama and my laptop is still not repaired. But my friends a relatives get freaked out every time I take my BlackBerry in hands. Speaking of BlackBerry, Girl and I were spring cleaning (it's very trendy now to clean everyone and everything) our mobile devices and found a lot of funny pictures. I made a video. If you get bored of it, you can simply enjoy a soundtrack - "O Superman" by M.A.N.D.Y. vs. Booka Shade feat. Laurie Anderson. We`ll try to post every picture we took on last RFW.
